Job Descriptions
Software Engineer
We are looking for world-class engineers who want to help develop the next
generation of technologies that find, organize, analyze, and personalize the
unending flow of information faced by users. Engineers at firstRain work on
solving problems in various areas of computing including automated information
classification, efficient algorithms to locate information on the web,
scalability issues related to filtering and managing large amounts of data,
converting unstructured data into structured data to name just a few. Join
firstRain in building technologies that convert the chaotic flow into managed
stream of business intelligence.
Requirements:
- Minimum BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent analytical skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a team to solve interesting problems
- Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments
- Programming Skills in one of the following: C/C++, Java, HTML, JSP
- Experience with Internet/Web technologies such as web browsers, html, http,
web Servers a plus
Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for QA engineers to work in our QA team to investigating,
reporting, and tracking issues. As QA you are expected to plan, develop, and
execute test plan, setup and manage testing environments, develop and extend
automated test suites, verification of tests, and certification of releases.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related
- Proficiency with scripting language such as Perl, PHP, _VBScript
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as SilkTest, Rational
- Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies such as web browsers, html,
http, web servers
- Working knowledge of Windows or Unix/Linux environments
- Working knowledge of C/C++ or Java a plus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 1-4 Years of Testing Experience
