Age above 45 may be considered. A large Construction Company in Malaysia - in a Fabrication and Construction of Oil and Gas Offshore Structures Industry, is seeking qualified engineers for, 1. PROJECT MANAGER, Must be engineering graduate (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electrical) with min 15 years related experience as a Project Manager in onshore fabrication of topsides and offshore hook-up and commissioning of production platforms, gas complexes or upgrading of offshore facilities. 2. QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR, Must be engineering graduate (Metallurgy or Mechanical) with ten years related experience and must possess strong background in NDT and welding processes and be knowledgeable of ASME/ANSI Codes and other industry codes and standards including oil company engineering specifications and basic practices. And must have recent experience in a similar capacity as a QC Supervisor and be capable of developing and implementing the QC plan effectively. 3. LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER. Must be engineering graduate (Civil/Structural) with min eight years works experience in design and construction of onshore/offshore O&G facilities. Must posses a strong background in the fabrication of modules, living quarters, flare booms etc. And must be knowledgeable about soils engineering and foundation design. Must be proficient in planning fabrication work including of sequencing of fabrication activities and performance of heavy lifts, load-outs etc. 4. LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. Must be engineering graduate with min eight years working experience in engineering, construction and commissioning of onshore/offshore O&G facilities. Must posses competency in the development and review of detailed electrical design drawings and schematics with a min five years work experience in HUC of offshore electrical systems for O&G production platforms. Must be competent in commissioning of emergency power systems, MCC and switchgear facilities, control panels, electric heaters, high voltage transformers and automatic transfer switch testing/commissioning. Must be qualified to supervise the installation and commissioning of high voltage (6,600 volts) switchgear and circuits. Must have microprocessor controls knowledge and be able to carry out cause and effect matrix test and troubleshooting of complex control circuits. Requirement for electrical personnel shall comply with Electricity Supply Act 1990 (ACT 447) and Electricity Supply (Successor Company) Act 1997 (ACT 448) & Regulations and Rules. 5. LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER. Must be engineering graduate with min eight years in O&G facilities design/construction/gas processing or petrochemical plants, and with min five years design/const or rotating/static equipment. Must be knowledgeable in ASME/ANSI codes and oil company specifications and basic practice. 6. LEAD TESTING AND PRE-COMMISSIONING ENGINEER. Must be engineering graduate in chemical, mechanical or electrical with min ten years overall working experience. Must have at least five years hands-on experience in the commissioning of O&G process systems including equipment such as gas compressors, turbo generators, pumps accessories and rotating systems. Must have experience in commissioning offshore O&G production and processing facilities, gas dehydration systems, water injection systems or similar related facilities and equipment. Must posses strong leadership skills to lead a commissioning team and be capable of planning, organizing and co-ordination a large workforce for successful completion of facilities commissioning. Requirement for electrical personnel shall comply with Electricity Supply Act 1990 (ACT 447) and Electricity Supply (Successor Company) Act 1997 (ACT 448) & Regulations and Rules. 7. INSTRUMENT / CONTROL ENGINEER, Must be engineering graduate in electronics or electrical or control with min ten years overall working experience. Must have at least 5 years hands-on experience in offshore hook-up and commissioning of oil and gas production facilities related equipment or facilities. Must have hands-on experience in commissioning microprocessor controls of turbo-compressors and generators (such as Detronics / Allen Bradley / Rosemount / Petrotech / Triconex), PLC/DCS, Fire and Gas detection systems, Crude Custody Meters, etc. (3) Must be very knowledgeable and experienced in loop-checking, troubleshooting and shall be able to read and interpret wiring diagram, schematic and logic diagram, performing cause and effect matrix test of control loops and supervision of the commissioning and start-up of the facilities. 8. BOCAD OPERATOR � 3-dimension Structural Engineering Detailing software. Engineering graduate, diploma in any engineering discipline or equivalent professional qualification with min three years working experience as a BOCAD operator in the design and fabrication of O&G facilities and familiar with the requirement. Candidates should have relevant qualifications with more than 10 years experience related to the respective positions.
