DH: Ada buku tulisan David Hazard berjudul "Blood Brothers" mengenai romo Elias ini. Beliau adalah romo dari gereja Katholik Orthodox (bukan Katholik Roma), sebuah gereja Katholik dari kelompok gereja Armenia. Mereka menjadi Kristen sudah sejak zaman Yesus, yang juga menggunakan bahasa Aram, bahasa yang dipakai Yesus.
"Elias Chacour became a priest in the Melkite Catholic Church, which dates back to the Byzantine period and Constantine. Father Chacour is a man of faith, of the Christian faith. Elias hanya meminta segayung air, kemudian memberkati pohon tsb, dan berkata," Lihat, pohon ini telah saya berkati dan tak ada seorangpun yang boleh memindahkannya dr sini.
