Denisov, the First Deputy at the Federal Security Military Technical Corporation of Russia, said the corporation is ready to cooperate in the transfer of technology of Sukhoi planes' spare parts and ready-made production. Nevertheless, the Russian representative pointed out that Sukhoi ready-made plane production is both expensive and extensive. "It takes industrial engagement by experts who can manage to complete the job," he said after the signing of memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation between Indonesia and Russia at the Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta on Thursday (29/6). Denisov said there was a large technology difference between spare parts production and ready-made plane production although currently PT Dirgantara Indonesia has been able to make Airbus A-380 and F-16 Falcon components. "Just like fighter planes, they need expert qualification," he said.
