50 volunteers ready to leave for Palestine, Lebanon Ambon (ANTARA News) - Some 50 Muslim volunteers in the eastern Indonesian province of Maluku have registered with the Islamic Youth Movement (GPI) command post to leave for war-torn Palestine and Lebanon to assist their brothers who have fallen victim to the Israeli military aggression. "We have begun the registration of mujahedin who are prepared to leave for the Middle East. We hope that the Maluku governor and the Ambon mayor will assist us in despatching them," chief of the movement`s branch in Maluku, Luaib Sailatua, said during a rally here on Wednesday. Tens of people who claimed to be GPI members took part in the rally aimed at condemning the Israeli attacks on Palestine and Lebanon and denouncing the US stand to let violence continue in the Middle East. The demonstrators also called for a boycott of the US products in protest against Washington`s support for the Israeli attacks.
