This appalling video shows a group of U.S. soldiers in a truck taunting
a pack of Iraqi children with a bottle of water.

This video confirms what I’ve said on my blog and elsewhere: The
biggest group of armed killers, rapists, thieves, torturers, and
abusers in Iraq is not Al Quaeda, “insurgents”, or the
various militias. The biggest gang of killers is the U.S. Military. The
U.S. is doing NOTHING positive in Iraq . It’s time to withdraw
now.

I’ve been in the military, and take my word for it, the military
DOES NOT want people who think. If you think, you start to question
what the hell you’re doing. The military just wants you to buy
in to mindless slogans like winning the hearts and minds, stopping the
spread of communism, protecting our freedom, etc., etc. Whether
it’s taunting Iraqi children with a bottle of water or dropping
bombs on Hanoi , the enemy is regarded as less than human, and
justified as being exterminated like vermin.

 THE GERIATIC SQUAD

 by Charley Reese

 Monday November 20, 2006

The Baker commission – or more accurately, the Geriatric Squad
– is not likely to come up with a solution to the Iraq War. The
commission consists of some old political types – two
ex-secretaries of state, Jim Baker and Lawrence Eagleburger; two
ex-senators, Chuck Robb and Alan Simpson; two ex-congressmen, Leon
Panetta and Lee Hamilton; an ex-Supreme Court justice, Sandra Day
O'Connor; an ex-attorney general, Ed Meese; an ex-defense secretary,
William Perry; and a lone black representative, Vernon Jordan.

There's not a Middle East expert in the bunch.
