We encounter the standing phrase Qul (Say) in many places in Qur'an. One wonders why this phrase was used, repeated by the Prophet after its first revelation and finally why it was preserved as a part of the Qur'an's lection. In particular the question should be asked by the non-Arabic speakers in order to understand the prophetic-state wherein the word Qul (Say) was uttered, to develop better feel for the prophetic language of Arabic.
