In Your Name all good words ascend

Majaz (The Corridor, The Metaphor)
http://www.untiredwithloving.org/majaz.html

Majaz is a core linguistic concept in the language of the Arab and a
fundamental construct of all Divine Words e.g. the Dhikr. Without the
Majaz much of the truth of the Dhikr is lost and much of its impact is
perished. The linguistics concepts are elucidated in great details by
Sheikh Suyuti and Sheikh Khatib Qazwini.

It is the corridor for all Divine Words tunneling through the barrier
(Barzakh) that separates the sempiternity from the temporal transience
of here. Upon the tunneling through Barzakh an incessant reflection
forms an image within our Aql (Intellect) that of `I'.

The concept of the Ibn Arabi's law of "manifestation upon a mirror" is
explored alongside the stunning Shat-h (Terse Sufi communication) of
Sheikh Baqli. The latter introduces two mirrors:

1. The Mirror of Quds (Sanctification) that reflects all that which is
not Allah and the reflected image is formed within our Aql (Intellect)
as the potentialities and probabilities.
2. The Mirror of Huwiyah (Who –ness) which forms a concept within our
Aql (Intellect) that of: Who am I?

Ibn Arabi's mirror law explains to us why we recognize our faces in a
mirror as our own Self and why we know we are talking to Allah and our
invocation is not someone else's.

Finally the corporeal transport for the Majaz is introduced and it is
none other than our intercellular waters! The explanation for the 11:7
referring to Allah's Arsh (Divine Throne) was upon water is
elucidated. Number of technical papers are researched to show the
viability of the proton transport of the water, and the proton
translocation within the Bacteriorhodopsin. Is the process of
communicating to the other world, the reverse process of our visual
seeing? Both vis-à-vis the deeply buried, evolutionary conserved,
intercellular waters!
