There is a little known and unfinished work of Ibn Sina called the
`Treatise in Terminologies' has been recently published by Dr. Hassan
Yar Shatir of Hamadan U. in Iran (`Panj Risalih' ISBN: 964-7874-47-2).
>From that treatise the section on Qadha and Qadar was selected and
translated into English.

In all religions the concept of Divine Decree and Fate is left as
blind belief. In Ibn Sina's treatise he talks about the involved
`processes' starting from the Primordial Decision all the way to the
`currents' of potentialities within our spatial-temporal transient
universe.

Similar concept, however focused on Tauhid (Divine Oneness), was
versed by Sheikh Mahmoud Shabistari in his seminal work Golshan Raz
(Secrets' Meadows). These verses translated however with a new twist:

Both terminologies of Ibn Sina and Shabistari were annotated with the
Klein-Gordon relativistic quantum mechanical equations for Probability
Currents and Electric Charge! We see a definite match in concepts
though one is from the point of view of philosophy, one from the point
of view of Sufism's spirituality and one from the point of view of
microscopic formulation of the atomic laws of motion!

Dr. Hind Rifai actually traveled and obtained the above said book
which she has donated as a gift to the UWL library. Moreover she has
painstakingly edited the cryptic Arabic of Sheikh Ibn Sina. My warmest
appreciation and reverence for her great effort.
