*Launch of moon explorer satellite postponed to Friday*

TANEGASHIMA, Japan, Sept. 11 KYODO

The government's space agency said Tuesday it will postpone the launch of
the Kaguya lunar explorer satellite by one day to Friday from Thursday
because bad weather is expected.

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency now plans to launch the satellite at
10:31 a.m. Friday with an H-2A rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center in
Kagoshima Prefecture.
