*Japan moon explorer enters orbit for observation* TOKYO, Oct. 21 KYODO *Japan*'s first lunar probe, Kaguya, has been positioned into a lunar observation orbit and is ready to start its mission just over a month after its launch, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said Sunday. The explorer, also known as SELENE, now has its observatory equipment facing the moon and is capable of precision exploration from an altitude of 80 to 120 kilometers from the moon's surface ahead of full-fledged observation due to start in December, the agency said.
