By Your Divine Presence Jacob's Mirror Irfani (Gnostic) Tafsir (Exegesis) Surah (Chapter) Yusuf 1-7, 18, 83, 86, 87 http://www.untiredwithloving.org/jacob_mirror.html Divan: http://www.untiredwithloving.org/tafsir.html
Thousands of years ago a young lad whispered to his father a dream, and the father warned his son to maintain silence about what he saw in his sleep. Shortly afterwards the lad is lost, millions of people are saved from an inevitable famine and the boy resurfaces as the king of Egypt. Are these camp fire stories? What did the father `see' in the words of his son? What did the boy really see in his dream? Do these prophets and Aulia (Friends of Allah) just die and the earth devours them, or do they have a lingering presence, a residue of their soul that remains on this earth? http://www.untiredwithloving.org/jacob_mirror.html#alif_lam_ra The Surah's start with Alif+Lam+Ra is explained based upon the seminal work of Sheikh Rouzbihan Baqli Shirazi. Ra (`R' sound) is the cipher that deciphers the mirror images reflected from the unreachable universe of Qidam (Infinite Past Realm of Actualities free of all potentialities). http://www.untiredwithloving.org/jacob_mirror.html#ka_presence Ka (`K' sound) used in Arabic of Qur'an as the addressing instruction provides a subjective-form of a feeling within the readers and listeners of this tale as though the person of Joseph is close by i.e. a tangible hint of presence. http://www.untiredwithloving.org/jacob_mirror.html#how_to_read Clear instruction is issued to the readers' of the Surah to cleanse the hearts properly in order to receive the proper `Ilm (Divine Knowledge). http://www.untiredwithloving.org/jacob_mirror.html#qasas Clear indications are there as why the Surah is in Arabic while the Hebrew words exchanged between the father-son prophets lost forever. Is this a story? A tale? Or the word Qasas has another meaning in Arabic? --DARA The Eyeless Lion
