In the Name of Zibaay-eh Asemaani (The Heavenly Beauty) Baha' Walad (Father of Rumi) Self-Study 1 http://www.untiredwithloving.org/baha_walad_selfstudy1.html
This treatise made up of few excerpts from both Arabic and Farsi writings of Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Hussein Khatibi Balkhi, The Sultan of scholars a.k.a Baha' Walad the father of Rumi. These writings deal with the Sheikh's study of his own Nafs (Self), observations ranging from his ailments to his sexuality to his Dhikr (Remembrance) to judging others. He has bequeathed to us techniques and methodologies of self-study and self-therapy unparalleled even by the today's advances. Baha' Walad explicates the meaning of the Subhana-Ka (Sanctification for You), in accordance to the Arabic grammar, in accordance to the terminologies of Qur'an, as well as taking into account the sentience of human vitiation and mentors us how to use our shortcomings and foul behavior while being during this Dhikr. The excerpts have been adapted into a love letter from a nobody to a somebody, and this Rahi (Author) wishes for those coming after him to use the template for affectionate and passionate mystic writings. For every blossom blooms only once, never twice, and the love between `you & I' blooms only once as well. --DARA The Eyeless Lion
