BOJ keeps key rate on hold

Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa speaks at a news conference at the BOJ
head office in Tokyo on April 30. The BOJ policy board voted unanimously to
leave the target rate for unsecured overnight call money unchanged at 0.5
