Qurei': Borders of Palestinian State is 1967 Borders
RAMALLAH, May 27, 2008, (WAFA)-Head of delegation for final status
negotiations, Ahmed Qurei' said on Tuesday that the borders of the Palestinian
state is 1967 borders, adding this is a fixed position and never be changed.
During a meeting with Vice President of the South African national party,
Qurei' added that the genuine peace we are longing for is an authentic peace
that is capable to solve the conflict and that peace could not be realized
unless the restoration of the legitimate national rights for the Palestinian
people and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state, with east
Jerusalem as its capital as well as the right of return and release of all
prisoners.
He stressed that Israel should freeze all settlements activities and stop the
ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people as well as returning the
deportees and releasing the prisoners.
