Honda Motor Co. on Thursday showed a concept model of its revamped
Insight hybrid car for the first time in Japan ahead of its planned launch
in Japan, North America and Europe next spring.
Honda unveiled the Insight concept model at the Eco-Products 2008
exhibition at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center in a bid to spur demand
for fuel efficient gas-electric hybrid cars amid slumping auto sales under
the global economic slowdown.
