*Lower house votes down bill to freeze Japan Post share sale*
TOKYO, Dec. 11 KYODO
The House of Representatives voted down Thursday a bill to freeze the
planned sale of state-owned shares in Japan Post Holdings Co.
The bill, proposed by the Democratic Party of Japan and two other
smaller opposition parties, was rejected at a plenary session of the lower
house, which is controlled by the Liberal Democratic Party and its junior
coalition partner the New Komeito party.
