*Ayatollah Kashani: US should respect Iran* *Tehran*, Feb 20, IRNA *Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani *said here Friday that the US should speak with Iran with the language of mutual respect. "Islamic system should be spoken to with the language of respect and justice; the West and East believe that the US has not had a well-calculated behavior to Iran; the US should identify Iran's power and speak with it with mutual respect," Ayatollah Kashani said in his second sermon to large groups of Tehrani worshipers in Tehran University campus. Meanwhile, Ayatollah Kashani thanked the public for huge turnout in the Bahman 22 rallies. "People guaranteed dignity of Islam through their huge presence in the Bahman 22 rally, which was more glorious than the previous years," he added. Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Kashani said the nuclear energy on which Iran relies is one of the scientific and industrial stages of the country's progress and is a source of honor, independence and dignity of the country. He said, "They want to tarnish image of Iran's nuclear activities worldwide by linking it to nuclear arms production and supporting terrorism; these claims are now worn-out and old." He switched to Lebanon and Gaza and said, "Once Israel invaded three Arab countries and dominated there within six days; Israel with such a power sank to swamp in Lebanon thanks to Hizbollah resistance; it crippled in the 32-day war and their (Israelis') failure was reflected worldwide."
