Pole-dancing beauty queen Days after her triumphant win at Miss USA 2010, stories have surfaced showing that Rima Fakih, the first Muslim to win the title, won a pole-dancing contest two years back. The photos, found on the website of Detroit radio station WKQI, showed the 24-year-old, who works as a marketing executive, dancing around a stripper's pole in a strip club in Detroit. Among the prizes she was said to have won from "Stripper 101" pole dancing contest were adult toys and a stripper's pole, reported the Daily Mail. The Lebanese-born beauty emerged as the new Miss USA in Las Vegas on Sunday and will represent her country in the Miss Universe pageant. WKQI claimed that Miss Universe Organisation representatives have contacted the station, asking for additional information on Fakih's participation in the contest. While it remains unclear whether Miss USA organisers knew about Fakih's involvement with the pole-dancing contest, WKQI voiced their support for the new Miss USA.
