(SP Photo) Celebrities Luna Maya, Ariel Implicated in Latest Sex Tape Scandal Two of Indonesia's biggest stars could find themselves on the wrong end of the country's draconian antipornography laws after the emergence of at least two hard-core pornographic sex videos that allegedly feature the couple. The two clips, allegedly involving television presenter Luna Maya and her boyfriend, Peterpan lead singer Nazriel Irham, known as Ariel, first emerged late last week and have since been widely downloaded and are the subject of intense speculation on the Internet. On Monday, Antara reported that lawyer Farhat Abbas had lodged a complaint with police over the indecent videos. Not long after that, the state news agency reported that Jakarta Police's cybercrimes department had launched an investigation into how the film clips were distributed. Jakarta Police Spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar said on Monday that the graphic videos could also implicate those featured in the video. The videos are extremely graphic and leave nothing to the imagination. One is 6 minutes and 49 seconds in duration and another 2.30 minutes long. Farhat, who chairs legal organization Jamin Rakyat, demanded Luna and Ariel - who are unmarried - be jailed for violating religious values and "breaking the law." He also urged police to arrest those who published the video on the Internet and charge them under the Electronic Information and Transaction (ITE) Law, which along with the controversial Anti-Pornography Law, have been criticized as draconian. Under the ITE Law, those convicted of distributing pornography can be jailed for up to six years, while the Anti-Pornography Law carries jail terms of as much as 16 years. Neither Luna nor Ariel had issued any statements regarding the videos and have been avoiding the press since they were leaked. Luna, the host of popular music program Dahsyat on RCTI, played hide and seek with a throng of journalists who were waiting for her after the live show. One of Luna's previous celebrity guests on the show was US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The same game was played by Ariel after performing with his multi-award winning pop rock band at the MTV Exit concert at Senayan on Sunday night. A number of Internet sites have taken the trouble to analyze the video and share the results of their investigative work. One Internet detective, identified as IF, said that after comparing a number of features of both stars, he believed the people on the video were indeed Luna and Ariel.
