Meskipun 100% berdiri di belakang Palestina, tetapi saya termasuk yang pesimis akan hasil perundingan kali ini. Palestina hanya dijadikan objek basa-basi di forum-forum internasional. Perundingan dikatakan berhasil bila Palestina memperoleh konsesi teritorial yang optimal dan sebesar-besarnya. Bila perdamaian ingin langgeng, Israel harus lepaskan minimal 40% wilayahnya kepada Palestina.

After a meeting in Ramallah headed by President Mahmoud Abbas, the Executive Committee said that the acceptance is based on the Middle East Quartet statement that called for re-launching the direct talks.
