We could work around it by using this hated literal instead of a reference to `VectorType` but running tests for https://github.com/apache/cassandra/tree/trunk/pylib directory with a not-compatible driver will hit us again eventually. I doubt we will be able to afford the luxury of updating [this](https://github.com/datastax/python-driver/tree/cassandra-test) particular branch as that will break old versions that do not support python 3.
