Since we've decided that changing the behavior on the existing method would be a dangerous change to make, this doesn't need to go in a major release anymore. The likely approach going forward will be to add an alternative method with this new behavior. As such we're descoping this from 2.0 and putting it on `2.x` fixversion in JIRA. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
