@michaelsembwever @msmygit please let me know if you prefer this is delivered under a ticket - I've separated it out so we can keep a clean commit history for CASSANALYTICS-58. I believe I have a sufficient solution for CASSANALYTICS-58 to contribute back which plays nicely with the latest spark API upgrades in v4 and beyond that would be ready for review.
