Communications Survey Implementer—short term
The consulting company DAI is managing a USAID-sponsored orangutan conservation
program (OCSP) and is recruiting a Communications Survey Implementer for a
short-term positionto assist in assessing the impact and effectiveness of the
project’s communications outreach and campaigns.
The Communications Survey Implementer will conduct interviews with key partners
in Jakarta, Sumatra and Kalimantan to determine their knowledge and
understanding of OCSP key communications messages and familiarity with the
program. Responsibilities will include setting appointments and conducting
field based interviews based on predetermined survey questions already
developed by OCSP; recording results from interviews: compiling data as they
relate to the survey questions; providing additional support including
translations and background narratives.
The position is based in Jakarta with travel to Kalimantan and Sumatra. A
university degree in social science or communications and experience working on
project communications are required. An ability to translate findings into
English and experience conducting surveys are highly desirable.
