He also active committe member in the 2008 ASEAN Scout Jamboree. He passed away on yesterday (Monday, 3th May 2010), just one hour before his Malaysian Airlines flight landed in Male, Maldives, because of stroke. He and several of his colleagues planning to go to Male on his office work. In the 1990's, he was the Chairman of East Java Scout Provincial Rovers and Rangers Council, and now he was active as one of the East Java Scout Provincial Commissioner.
