No doubt a lot of effort to find the right combination of gcc and 
binutils.  The combination and your build produce something that can 
build prex.  I am running on an ubuntu 9.10 machine, wait no this is 
9.04, hmmm what happened there.  Will try with a 9.10 machine soon.
