I'd actually like a backup 'moderator' for this list to deal with the administrivia when I'm not around.
mostly, the moderator gets email notifications of events like blocked messages (maybe spam, maybe from someone whos not using their subscribed email address), and going to the admin webpage (linked in said emails), and deciding to {defer|accept|reject|discard} any pending message(s).
