at this time i would like to make the un-prime-related announcement
that my childhood friend Jeff Richmond will be on the game
show jeopardy this wednesday to play against the all-time
champion dude. Jeff is also one of the all-time Jeopardy champs.
for a prime-related meta-comment i would like to point out that
it should not be difficult to link a mailing list to
a newsgroup. my employer's postmaster/newsmeister people do
this via majordomo. but they are paid to do that sort of thing.
with voluntarily-administered systems such as we have here in
prime-ville, i am especially thankful for whatever the administrators
have done for us so far. i recognize that they probably have
'real jobs' where they probably do the mathematical equivalent
of "makin the donuts", much like i do.
best regards to all,
/eli
ps - rest in peace, hunter thompson.

so much
harder to follow over time.)
The greatest shame is that both spaces aren't connected. It's trivial to
have a mailing list, and discussion board and a blog, all carrying the
same messages. But hey, it's progress...

Have you tried to do a manual checkin of the results file? Try the following
link and see if that works.

these error 3s are caused when the primenet server/sql database goes
down unfortunaty there regular and cause a lot of problems if you search
the forums you will find this has been effecting gimps for a while
search for threads such as server down or error 3 you will see a lot of
answers also may i susgest you change manually connect to primenet check
it so you can report when you want. also if you search for v5 you will
see stuff come up about version 5 of the server still in devolopment
