After P-1 (stage 1 and stage 2) there is only the primality test
(Lucas-Lehmer test) left for you. Sometimes there is a trial factoring step
before the P-1 factoring. And after your
primality test (usually years after) someone else will double-check
your result.

I guess I'm new as well.My primality test has been running for about a month, the previous one three, before my computer had a virus. I have no clue what happens afterwards...
