There is a large amount of data moving around the memory bus. But you are correct, fast multiprocessor machines can run faster than using mprime/prime95. But it is unlikely you/anyone will convince Tony or myself to run the Glucas software for 60 years instead of 600 to find out. ;-) Of course with the improvement of computer speeds over time it wouldn't actually take 60/600 years but stil...
