I'm not quite sure what you're asking, exactly.  If you want to test
an arbitrary number to see if it is prime, check Chris Caldwell's web
site:

If, instead, you want to test a particular Mersenne number - rather
than whichever ones the Primenet server gives you - George Woltman's
Prime95 program can do that.  If you don't already have Prime95, you
can get it from his web site:
