I would be very interested to hear the proof, as there is evidence in the Mersenne community that this number, otherwise known as MM31, is composite, with five factors known. >From time to time, people who have never been known in the Mersenne community appear out of nowhere with wild conjectures, some false, some unprovable. I am sorry to say that Mr Fiedlers appears to meet this profile.
