which source was that?    mprime is for pentium or later  x86 CPUs only, 
as it makes extensive use of assembler language to optimize the 
lucas-lehmer FFTs used.

mlucas or glucas should be buildable for that platform, but may well 
require some tweaking.      most folks I know with Sparc64 hardware are 
using Solaris.

anyways, I can't relate (251) to any version of any of those three programs.
