as long as there is a PPD file on Solaris (for the printer) or you can download a suitable one from http://openprinting.org/printer_list.cgi then any printer should work. But its probably best to choose one you fancy and then ask if anyone has had it working. If the printer supports PS you may also find a ppd file on the printer's install disk that will work (if there isn't already one in Solaris).
