Since this is related to printing, I have a fax modem support question. The Fax tab in Printers & Scanners no longer exists in Yosemite. If a fax modem was configured before migration, then it is still available, but once removed or if setting up Yosemite from scratch then the fax modem cannot be added. The advanced tab doesn't give the fax modem as a usable device either. The fax modem is available as a network interface and it can receive AT commands via serial terminal app like CoolTerm. The following KB article does not match reality in regard to the section about adding other fax devices (e.g. "Click Fax, select your fax machine, then click Add."-the Fax tab doesn't exist!).
