Library of Congress explains missing parts of Constitution (and it's
logical to me)
I saw a lot of, well, frankly ranting yesterday that claimed the
fascist Trump administration was somehow trying to change the
Constitution because the middle of Article 1 Sections 8 to the end of
10 were missing. I thought that was frankly silly. What purpose would
it serve? And every other copy on government sites was intact. I
assumed it was a tech problem.
Today the Library says they were editing analysis of latest cases
affecting those articles, and left out an XML tag by accident, which
eliminated everything after that point. Most of us have done something
like that on our own sites at some time and it sounds completely logical
to me. End of story.
