Trump abruptly changes deportation guidance to protect farms, hotels,
and restaurants
Excerpt from the new guidance:
"Effective today, please hold on all work site enforcement
investigations/operations on agriculture (including aquaculture and
meat packing plants), restaurants and operating hotels."
It added that investigations involving human trafficking, money
laundering, or drug smuggling into those industries can continue,
but that "noncriminal collaterals" should not be arrested.
