Here is an ebuild for the alsaplayer-midi input plugin. It is a nice midi plugin that use timidity for the output and sf2 files. The best thing is at when the alsaplayer use jack, even if timidity doesn't appear in qjackctl midi connect panel, the sound go out the alsaplayer, it mean using jack. It is of course no need to run timidity as a server.
