VLC doesn't do anything like audio tracking for professional use, whereas openshot has a chance of being useable in a fulltime enviroment. Kind of like comparing apples with bicycles. :) Anyway, thanks for the links, i assume this will hit mainstream portage eventually, and when it arrives, we get our chance to use it.
