I'm trying to update jackd to >=1.9.9 to support libffado-9999 from which seems
to be working with my new Saffoire Pro 24. I have jackd-1.9.8 running like a
deamon. Literally:p But I can't get any thing higher to compile. I've treid
1.9999, and 2.9999 both from proaudio and ladi. The ffado mixer and tools only
work when eselec python is set to 2.x. I also have python-3.2 actively
installed. I've tried emerging jacks-2.9999 with eselect python set both ways
and different use flags like with and without dbus, ieee1394, 32bit, mixed. Do
I have a python situation? I read the Gentoo Python Management page, but don't
really know how relevant it is to me. Does anyone else have multiple python
installs on their DAW. Thanks for all the feedbaxk. Here's what emerge has to
