Well, it might work as is, but I think if it is best if there is proper multilib support in all dependencies so that the ebuild can be written with multilib eclasses directly. That is the reason I want to migrate jack-audio-connection-kit (and all of its deps) and ladish before fsthost is version bumped. That is IMHO the solution that gives the least maintenance burden, even though the process is blocked by work and bugs in the main tree.
