Hi All,
DId a complete test. I needed to comment out the patches section to
make it work.. I don't believe that patch is required anymore.
I've attached a copy.
cheers

 HI All,
I managed to do a basic test on my  laptop.. (created the ebuild and
did a digest on it.. then emerge -pv )... Looks good so far. My laptop
doesn't have firewire so I can't do a full test...
Moving back in home this weekend, so should be able to do a full test
with my firewire mixer.
 Regards
 Allan

Unfortunately, I've been renovating so haven't had a chance to try
this..
My house is being painted and I don't move back in till next weekend..

Have you tried just renaming the ebuild and doing and updating the
digest?  Many times that works for new versions. If it works I can
quickly update. I will try tonight, but I don't have any firewire
devices so I doubt I have all the prerequisites installed.  My
computer has been upstable lately due to systemd + power outage issues
so I havn't been keeping up.

 Hi,

FFADO 2.2.1 is out. I have tested it on my machine and it works fine..

Actually it's a necessity for me, as I have a new device that requires
this version..
However, I'd prefer to be using an ebuild..

cheers
