Tracey, Speaking of receiving training on the industry standard, I have a question for all who will listen.
Does anybody know for sure of any case in which a totally blind student applied to attend a recording arts school, (not a program at a university), and was actually accepted. Their are private trade schools with great reputations and even a few with some sort of certification or authorization from DigiDesign and other audio software developers, but I am only aware of several cases of totally blind applicants and in all cases they were rejected or disqualified for their blindness. I am one, but I made my applications decades ago. E.A.R. is a big one in PHoenix that i know of. M.I.T. and L.A. Workshops are here in L.A. Has any blind person broken that barrier yet?
