Dear Stewart

I stopped using Portfolio when Cumulus V4 had many better features.
Portfolio's licence for CD catalogues cost $600 per annum at that time. I
have been using Cumulus for many yaers and it is a useful programme but I am
finding putting my stock catalogue on the web just too complicated. Speaking
to someone in the Portfolio support department on Friday was a much better
experience than trying to get paid for support from the UK agents of Cumulus.

The problem with both these programmes is that they try and do far too much.
The number of file types which Cumulus will catalogue is quite mindboggling.
Very usefull for multimedia types editing digital feature films, writing
computer games and complex web sites all at the same time but a bit excessive
for storing simple Tiffs and Jpegs.
