Dear Mark, according to ColorShop software, between the Pantone 281C colour and c100 m72 y 00 k38 there is a "delta error" difference = 5,3. They say that for most of the works, a delta error up to 6 or 7 is still ok; maybe it is borderline for critical jobs (actually the cmyk colour looks more pale). Not for all the Pantone colors there are satisfactory equivalent process colours. I should suggest your customer that, if their corporate blue is critical, maybe 5 colors are better than 4. -- Claudio Corvino Graphic Designer and Photographer Florence, Italy
