the drum scans were via Formatrix, recommended by others on ProDIG, and
whilst one of the least expensive drum scans (at 12GBP each, less for
quantity) I assume that they are of a quality on par with any other -
the comparison with scans on the P4000 was enough to encourage me to
persevere learning how to get the best out it and with confidence that
it could deliver near drum scan quality for archiving, repro, and
printing - I just wish it was a bit easier learning how to tweak the
controls..... ;-}

PS - I remember a while ago you were looking for some Kodachromes to
test-scan - would be interested to see what you get from my 'test'
Kodachrome and compare to my other test files - what will you charge?
