I bought a pocket camera (er film,actually) via the internet recently from BH New York. Cost of camera 199.95 USD about 128 GBP Shipping by air 28.50 USD about 18.20 GBP Import Duty 4.75 GBP VAT 23.32 GBP Parcelforce Clearance fee 7.75 GBP Delivery was pretty quick - about four days So final cost to me was about 181 GBP The camera is now available in the UK Cost (guess what) 199.99 GBP So I saved about 19 Quid (the cost of walking round the corner and waiting in the queue at Jessops) I guess you would have to put a lot of noughts on these figures to start saving serious money...............
