Dear list I have bit the bullet and started cataloguing all my existing digital images so I can find them quicker and get a better idea of what I have shot over the past few years.....
I�ve hit a brick wall and was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with Portfolio. Basically I am having trouble assigning keywords from an existing catalogued image to new or other items. Sometimes it works usually it does not. I have been trying to use the �Edit Keywords� function, assigning the relevant words, click OK and bingo... they have NOT been assigned to the other selected items. Why does the help say that�s how to do it. A plague on them all. I am on a demo , but full working, version 5. If I cannot get this to work any better than it is now I will be back to the list for suggested alternatives. For me this is crucial to the whole process of digital imaging but am unsure if it is OT. I defer to the powers that be. If it is, some off list assistance would be appreciated.
