I just don't know if you never heard about it, and I am sorry to say OSX
users can not make use of this, but there is a very tiny, oldy and useful
extension( I am 9.2.2 so I can ascertain it works all the way without a
glitch) called Speedy Mouse 1.2, and when I say old , I mean it, since it
exists like since 1993, so it's been around since Apple launched system Mac
OS 1.0.
Dozens of systems later and it still works. And It's freware.

Still available at www.versiontracker.com ( it's a 34k init extension)
Dear Jorge

Thanks for that...now downloaded but that's as far as I have got tonight! Next fun and games is going to be installing it and working out what's an init extension!

Cheers

Richard
